Lodging for Families and Groups at West Quoddy Station
West Quoddy Station has 15 lodgings in 11 buildings on our five ocean-view acres. Seven of our lodgings have two or more bedrooms each. The remaining eight lodgings have one bedroom.
When I first started in 2000, I had the Station House with five bedrooms, the Cabin with one bedroom, and the Lodge with four one-bedroom lodgings. Back then, demand was for one-bedroom lodgings. I would hear, “We only need one bed, there’s only two of us.”
Lodging dynamics have changed. Most of the lodging demand is now for two or more bedrooms. Guests are traveling with one or more families.
The Station House and Meetinghouse
The Station House, on the National Register of Historic Places, has five bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with excellent ocean and lighthouse views of Lubec, Eastport, and Campobello, Canada.
The first floor has a Master Queen bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a tub. The second floor has four bedrooms: a Queen bedroom, a Full bedroom, a Twin bedroom, and a Single bedroom. There is a full bathroom on the second floor. There is also a washer and dryer at the Station House kitchen entry.

The Meetinghouse, with its bell tower, has four bedrooms. The first floor has a Queen Master bedroom with a bathroom directly across from it. There is also a half bath on the first floor. The second floor has two Queen bedrooms and a Twin bedroom. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.

Captain’s Table and Clark’s Folly Lighthouse
The Captain’s Table has three bedrooms. It is all on one floor with a 60-foot deck and excellent ocean and lighthouse views. The Captain’s Table features a King bedroom with an en suite bathroom. There are also two large Queen bedrooms. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.

Clark’s Folly Lighthouse also has three bedrooms. There is a first-floor Master King bedroom with an adjoining full bathroom. Also on the first floor is a Full bedroom, just off the kitchen. The second floor features a large Queen bedroom with an en suite bathroom.

Keeper’s Cottage
The Keeper’s Cottage, with two Queen bedrooms, is my 2010 reconstruction of the circa-1806 Keeper’s House at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse on the Easternmost Point of the USA at West Quoddy Head in Lubec, Maine.
Keeper’s Cottage has a full bathroom. The original specifications called for 12-over-12 windows, cedar shingles on the roof and building, and wood floors, walls, and ceilings. Keeper’s has a washer and dryer in the basement.
There are excellent ocean and lighthouse views of Lubec, Eastport, and Campobello, Canada. The Keeper’s Cottage is private and cozy.

Crew’s Quarters
The Crew’s Quarters is a large, two-bedroom lodging. It is the closest to the ocean of all of our lodgings and is very private. The Crew’s Quarters features rustic post-and-beam construction and a cathedral ceiling.
There is a King bedroom and a Queen bedroom. There are excellent ocean and lighthouse views from the 60-foot deck.
I consider Crew’s Quarters to be our best lodging.
